I've always wondered what it's like to fly in a small plane. My dad lives on this lake about a mile from the strip. I will definitely check out flying next time I visit. Dads neighbors house is for sale on waterfront for less than 300k. The west side of Lake Corpus Christi is so private and cheap.

Great aircraft mechanic out there, A&P and IA and a pilot himself, he definitely knows what he's doing. The lake aint bad either, good flying.

Fly in, leave your plane to get that top notch maintenance done, grab some bbq and a beer, and mingle with the locals on the lake. Excellent and desolate place to be.
